Tessa Phillips, who worked in the Finchley Conservatives Constituency Office for many years, will be speaking about Margaret Thatcher as a local Member of Parliament in Finchley, in honour of Margaret Thatcher's 100th Birthday Anniversary.
Tessa first met Margaret Thatcher when she joined Finchley Young Conservatives in 1959 and was fortunate to have the opportunity to get to know her. Initially, she volunteered, and later, she worked in the Finchley office from 1977, regularly seeing her throughout her time as a constituency Member of Parliament.
The talk will be illustrated with a short film and original photographs. It will take place at 1a Heath Hurst Road, London NW3 2RU, and will be accompanied by a ploughman's lunch and wine.
