Drinks Reception with Henry Newman - Deputy Chief of staff to Kemi Badenoch

Henry is very well known to us as he served at a Camden Conservative Councillor for Frognal & Fitzjohns Ward and a Deputy Chair of Holborn & St Pancras Association.

Late last year, Henry joined Kemi Badenoch’s team as deputy chief of staff.

Prior to the General Election, Henry was special adviser to Michael Gove. He also worked for Boris Johnson in 10 Downing Street as a Senior Adviser, and before that for Francis Maude. He has sat around the edge of the Cabinet room and witnessed many of the political ups and downs of the last decade.

After the last General Election, Heny established the Whitehall Project - a blog that rapidly identified many of the scandals that have shown how ill-prepared the Labour team were for Government - donorgate, Rachael Reeves’s questionable CV and so many other scandals have all been exposed to public view thanks to Henry. You can view it here.

An experienced guest on the media, Henry has been interviewed by Robert Peston, Andrew Neil, Iain Dale and Nick Ferrari. He has written for the Telegraph, Conservative Home and many other publications. Laura Kuenssberg described him as an “arch observer of Tory tribes”.

He will be an informative and engaging speaker putting the Starmer regime into perspective and talking about the challenges faced by the Conservative Party as they rebuild their position ahead of the next election.

The venue is a private home in Hampstead.
