Cllr Stephen Stark - Save the Post Offices in Hampstead, South Hampstead & Kilburn

Swiss Cottage Post Office (9-10, Harben House Harben Parade, Finchley Rd, South Hampstead, London NW3 6JS) and Hampstead Post Office 79-81A Hampstead High St, London NW3 1QL are both under threat of closure - sign our petition to save our Post Offices

Local post offices play a vital role in our High Streets, especially here in Hampstead. They are no longer places just to post a letter but also provide bank services, bill payments, parcel collection, and access to government services, including Universal Credit. Post Offices are particularly valued by older people, those with mobility issues, and people not able or comfortable going online.

We were concerned that our local post office, along with another 30 across London, is one of over 100 threatened with closure.

Your local Conservative action team have joined forces with local people, residents’ groups, and business representatives to express their concerns and encourage people to join in the consultation and call for a review of this decision.

We are worried about the impact this will have on people living in our part of Camden, particularly the elderly or those with mobility issues.

We believe the loss of this service will significantly impact local people in Hampstead.

Please sign our petition at camden.team/HampsteadPostOffice and take the time to join in the Post Office’s formal consultation too. Together, we can show the strength of public opposition to these changes.

I have been running a campaign to save Hampstead Post Office and now want to expand this to urge the Post Office not to close the South Hampstead one as well

With best wishes,

Cllr Stephen Stark
