I’m proud to call Hampstead Town home. However, I fear Hampstead Town is no longer protected from thieves, who brazenly snatch our phones and steal from local shops with impunity, confident that the Labour-controlled Met Police won’t even attempt to catch them. As your local councillor, I will champion Hampstead Town’s need for visible and local Policing. Our Town should no longer be discriminated against by Mayor Sadiq Khan, who prioritises other parts of London over the evident need for Bobbies on the Beat in Hampstead Town and on the Heath.
I’m passionate about making our streets safer, reducing litter and ensuring we get value for money from Camden Council. I’m especially interested in community pride. Collaborating with our schools, businesses and residents to create community initiatives that will bring our community together and showcase Hampstead Town. I want to work with you and Cllr Stephen Stark to help protect Hampstead Town from Camden Council’s intrusions.
