My first steps in local politics have been campaigning against overdevelopment projects that Camden has regrettably wedded itself to. I used my skills in rhetoric, learned from many years as an actor, to challenge the decisions of council planning committees that undermine local conservation areas.
I passionately believe that no one should be left behind in these difficult times with rising costs of living, over-run public services, and scant support for libraries. Our borough needs a revival of scrutiny, not complicity.
You can trust that I will be able to scrutinise the decisions being made at council and cause the necessary disturbances that will lead to a schism. With my determination, I will ensure these cogs turn to make our council run effectively and efficiently, or to prevent further harm to its constituents.
So, if you support me, I will make sure that our council becomes more accountable, more responsive, and ultimately truly representative.
