Born and raised in Dartmouth Park, I am proud to call Highgate ward my home. Bringing this wonderful area the representation it deserves is something I would take very seriously. Having worked in retail investment at Hargreaves Lansdown, I am a strong believer in responsible spending and sound investment. I will fight to ensure all of your council taxes are put to appropriate use, down to the last penny.
In addition I will strive to ensure that the decisions which directly impact your lives and daily routines, be it your commute to work or the school-run, will be taken with the full consultation of residents of Highgate ward. For too long, a Labour-dominated Camden Council has been able to push through changes without the consent or consultation of local residents, safe in the knowledge they hold a majority on the council. The ever worsening traffic on Chetwynd Road is a testament to just this. Change is in the air this May, so let's make it count!
Finally, I have seen first-hand a decline in the cleanliness of our streets in the last few years. Preserving the character and spirit of our area means the world to me, so this is an issue I would tackle head-on.
