Ian is a long-standing pillar of the community in West Hampstead. As part of our local team, he has worked and campaigned very hard within the community, standing in three local elections (2014, 2021, and 2025) in Fortune Green and West Hampstead.
Ian was a part of the original team that inaugurated and strengthened the Neighbourhood Development Forum (NDF) within West Hampstead and Fortune Green, and he helped establish Red Frog NDF. He is a member of the West Hampstead Amenity and Transport (WHAT), Fortune Green Safer Neighborhood team, Friends of Fortune Green, and the West Hampstead Business Association (WHBA). Ian also works with the elderly and vulnerable, volunteering at night shelters for C4WS at Emmanuel Church, the Sidney Corob House Mental Health Residential Jewish Care Home, and he has delivered over 400,000 meals with the JW3 Community Centre.
Ian has served in various capacities within the Hampstead and Kilburn/Highgate Conservative Officer group, currently holding the title of President of the Association.
